Tasting Room and Online Exclusive Product
Naturally low yields in 2022 gave our Pinot Noir more structure than most years. As always with this site, the perfume is alluring and pure. It is bright and energetic on the palate, with a mix of savoury (dried herbs, sandalwood) and fruit notes (cherry, raspberry coulis). The tannins are more prominent than in 2021, and along with fresh acidity, they balance the richness and generosity of fruit that 2022 delivered.
Another cooler than average season with some influence from La Niña weather patterns. The season was cool to begin with, which meant that a smaller crop formed during fruit set. The summer was mild, warming up towards the end and adding flavour to the ripeness.
